This year I have more students than I have had in the past that have private tutors.
Remember, this class is a paced class. The choice is only up to the parent if they choose to get a tutor. I cannot advise the parent or student on what they choose to do at home. I provide assistance for students during advisory and during the class period. Also, students can watch videos that are posted on my website for help. We go very slowly in class so that students can (hopefully) retain information. Students can also see Ms. Holly for help. In the events that I have been asked numerous times already, listed below are the topics that we will focus on for the upcoming weeks. Again, it's a paced class. If we end up going slower than anticipated- it happens. Please refer to homework assignments for exactly what students are working on for the week. ** Students can take notebooks home. However, if a student misplaces their notebook or forgets it at home during class time, a student will then have to copy down everything twice.
